algorithmic modeling for Rhino

missing components from drop down menus

Hi,

Going through some tutorials from rese-arch, specifically the Advanced Mesh tutorials.

I can't find Mesh / Primitive/Mesh Pipe, Loft, Sweep.

Nor can I find Mesh / Util/ Merge Mesh, Merge Mesh Ex.

Probably there are also others I can't access.

I've got the latest version of Grasshopper 0.90076

Is there something additional that needs to be installed?

I think you just need to enable "obscure components" in Preferences > Interface.

I have no idea why this isnt more obvious or just a small button in the ribbon itsself. Makes no sense to hide them like that. Especially since they are used quite a lot for being called "obscure". And what makes one more obscure than the other!?

Something I forgot about when reinstalling Rhino on Windows 10, but no, it doesn't expose MeshPipe. It's a missing download, in fact:
