algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all, my teacher asked me to redo the below metaball exercise once again. I dun know what should I input into the expression for the first bucket and dun know where should I link to the Num in the second bucket. If you tried this, please share yours to me and you can also play with this, the effect is quite nice!!!Sketch_3.gh

Hi,

you haven't uploaded a file.

Opps, sorry. Here you are! I just try to make something like metaball have a low accuracy.

Hi Ka Chun Ringo Chan,

Your definition works just fine. The first red rectangle contains a graph mapper that generates values from 0 to 1 and feeds them to the charge input (roughly how big each ball will be). Playing around with the graph mapper you will see the size of metaballs changing.

The second red rectangle is just a number for the accuracy (detail) of the curves that are generated. I don't know where this is connected in the image you posted but you can plug a slider (just like you did) or even leave it blank (it gets the default value which is 0.2). just note that the smaller the number, the bigger the level of detail will be. In the image I am guessing this is a large number so that the curves are calculated fast and then smoothed through fillet.

Sorry if I have missed your question but your definition works as expected.

Thanks for replying!! it does help me and actually I'm doing a studio to re-build a building and then develop our own building. And I found one in the internet but I just cannot just the specified adjusting one metabll of their location, height and slope. I posted another question here, so if you have time, please go to check it and see if you can help me a bit. I just met grasshopper in this semester so I know not much about it. If you can help me, that was really cool and really thanks for replying this!

The question is in here: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/how-to-make-something-lik...
