Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys!

I'm having some troubles to create a mesh from points and surface.

My points are creating from a circle packing (thx Kangaroo) and then I'm trying to recreate a mesh using this points.

My first intuition was to use delaunay but as I'm having a sort of toric surface and because the delaunay mesh needs a plane, it doesn't work...

My second thought is to use my surface and remap my points on a planar surface, do my delaunay mesh and then remap my points.

But because I've got a non uniform and well parametrized surface, my delaunay mesh doesn't work well on the edges of the surface. (My surface as been reparametrized using a rebuild surface from lunch box to have a rectangular shape instead of a square one as David Rutten has advised me).

So now I'm trying to do an anemone loop which is very difficult to handle and I wonder if you guys could give me some advices to do it in an other way?

Cheers!
