Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

A quick question on how I can split a list.I have a list of 100 values which I want to split in 2. The one list should contain the odd numbers and the other the even. So it would be:

(a) 0,2,4,5 etc

(b) 1,3,5,7 etc.

It could work with list item and a set of series isn't it? Any simpler way?

Thank you

Nat

Dispatch component will do that by default. :)

Hi Jonah,

Thank you for the tip but I have tried and the input information is the same with the output. Any idea what went wrong?

I have uploaded the definition for you to have a look if you want. The reason i need to separate them is that I have to different axis of rotation.

pattern should be true false

Check my image above. The first example is what you want. It will also work earlier in your definition where you Pick Odd and Pick Even.

What is the overall effect you are trying to reach?

Well, Im so used to the letter mode instead of the symbol mode that it makes it hard to read the above image but I will try and sort it out now.

The overall effect its something like the picture attached which is from a my previous discussion:It is basically  a set of components that rotate on a specific function.

Your suggestions are more than welcome :)

Hi Natasa take a look this module
