Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am an industrial design student beginner in grasshopper and I need help with this important assignment. I am trying to create lattices between 2 surfaces. Initially I have used intralacttic to create lattices between 2 surfaces. Then when I want to create lattices between 2 circular surfaces it doesn't work.

Can anyone help me with this?

Very much appreciated.

Thankssssss

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the reply, I don't seem to be able to open the lattice part of the GH. The file only opened as 2 surfaces. However from the photo you provided, it looks like an extruded lattice mesh? Correct me if I am wrong. I am looking for something like this

However when I try to do the same with curve/ circular surfaces this happens

The lattices doesn't match up the curve surfaces. Is there a way to make it match up without trimming the lattice manually.

Thanks again.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the advice. I got the image above through using intralattice and it works perfect for squares or rectangular surfaces but once I use non-rectangular (or square) surfaces it doesn't behave. I guess the only method is to trim it through rhino like you mentioned.

Thanks for the reply once again :)
