Label orientation

So I've been having a problem with getting labels to engrave properly onto geometry. The labels sometimes are randomly oriented inwards rather than outwards when applied to the surface.

I've been using evaluate surface to get the orientation planes. Orientation vectors appear to be correct, and I've tried a variety of methods to try get them to apply properly to the surface, but I'm pretty much out of solutions at this point. 

Help would be appreciated.
