Kangaroo Magnetic Snap

Hi,

I have a script which allows me to move end points of curves together through scaling, but there are mid points along the lines that I need to snap together. I was thinking the magnetic snap tool in kangaroo 2 would be the tool to use, but it doesn't seem to be working how I need. I included a screenshot of the points that I need to move. I thought that the bending force I am using could be overriding the magnetic snap force, so I set the snap strength as high as it could go, but still nothing is bringing those points together. Has anyone used the magnetic snap tool before successfully? If so, how is it supposed to be used? Can I use the magnetic snaps for this purpose? Any help is much appreciated! I included the script if anyone wants to have a look.
