algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello, everybody!
I would like to ask you if it was possible to apply kangaroo forces defining the material of the geometry I've drawn, and how I can do it.
The structure in the image should be in RUBBER, with high density in a way not to collapse, and with a reinforcement layer glued on it in a way to guarantee stiffness.
The stresses I would like to considerate are the natural ones, so the wind, snow, rain. In this way, I'll have horizontal and vertical stress.
How can I go on and use the kangaroo commands?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Is this a folding envelope?
Anyway ... in order to use Kangaroo you'll need something to feed the engine. In this occasion I suspect just a line graph (optionally: one or more meshes [ K is a physics engine meaning that deals with points ]).
So post your definition and we'll see what is possible.
BUT if I was you I would opt for an inflated skin - under pressure that is (unless the mezzanine is carrying loads). Go to BirdAir site and see what they have to offer.
