Is Galapagos Running???

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a convenient way to determine if Galapagos is running from a 3rd Party Component?

I provide some boolean toggles to test/diagnose external model data being generated from my component, but I'd like to override it if I can detect that Galapagos is running (to keep it as fast as possible).

I'll explain further if the above isn't clear.

I seem to remember this coming up before and there being some hack solution, but I can't think of it again.

One thing you can check for is the Canvas.ModifierEnabled property on the GH_InstanceServer.ActiveCanvas field. When the Galapagos window is up, the canvas is locked down (the main menu and the Tab Ribbon on the GH_InstanceServer.DocumentEditor form will also be disabled).

Is that accurate enough?
