intersection Failure, most probably a bug

Hi, 

I accidentally encountered a  failure in intersecting two curves (in VB, C# and by GH components) that do not seem to be special in any way. If you move any of them in the Rhino file it produces the intersection curve but not in this situation. I wonder if this is a bug!?
