Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I’m looking for information on how to create a master slider that will control  secondary, tertiary, etc….Sliders. There is a default slider that has out-put points. Is there a slider that can receive data and send? I noticed there was a discussion on Hardware sliders the features of the sliders is what im looking for of plugging into the slider and help is appreciated.

Currently i'm using a number slider and branching off of the slider with Num primitives and writing  a basic equation, is this the most efficient manner?

Attached is the definition that I started, I can't seem to get this to work, I'm still new at this please.

Hi shaun,

I think you can have a look on the Grasshopper Centipede plug-in.

It's mainly used for animationtimelines with multiple sliders.

So with the Animation Keyframe Timeline component you can control with one single "keyframe" slider (master slider) a bunch of sliders (secondary, tertiary, ... sliders) the same time, time shifted, one after an other, etc.

Attached is also an example I've prepaired for my seminar last semester.

Maybe this is useful for you.

Best,

Martin.
