Hybrid Digital/Analog model - using gh and firefly to control radioactive environments

Digital/ Analog Hybrid model

I am attempting to design and build a hybrid digital/ analog model that uses live inputs from a camera, grasshopper and firefly to control motors attached to 'wave generators' on a physical model of a coastal area. Below (and attached) is a diagrammatic description of what I intend to achieve. I am an architecture student who has only recently been introduced to grasshopper so I understand that this might be an ambitious project given my current abilities. I wonder if the grasshopper community could guide me in the direction of any resources I could look at such as examples and relevant tutorials that might be useful to me.

A few pieces of additional information may be important to gain an understanding of the project. Radioactive particles have been found on the beach of the coastal bay. These particles will be modelled as a single floating particle that can be forced to move by 'wave generators' - essentially a flap linked to a motor - attached to the borders of the model. The concept behind the model is that the position of the radioactivity can be controlled to prevent visitors to the beach from being exposed to radiation.
