Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Self-explanatory question in the title.

I'm looking for a way to panel a mesh (see attached image) such that the panels are flat surfaces. I've seen similar definitions that used box-morph but these definitions don't generate a smooth volume when I apply weaverbird's mesh thicken as I can't join them into a single smooth surface.

I want to put circular holes of varying aperture in the center of each mesh face that are optimized according to an attractor point or solar radiation script.

I'm working towards 3d printing them as pieces in a model (see test print).

Hey Justine,

Been ages since you've asked this question now. Any chance you managed to resolve the query? I am going through the same issue. I have polysurface and a mesh ans I want panel an object on them, but for some reason Panelling tool is only allowing me to use a surface, which has been proving really impossible to produce.

I am new to grasshopper. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!
