how to offset a mesh?

i want to offse a mesh

i know maybe i could first use weaverbird thicken mesh to get a double layer mesh and then delete the edge mesh .

is there any easier way to do this?

weaverbird also has a mesh offset function.

Try the VB component.

Mesh.offset(x,true or false for Solid)
