hi guys, i'm trying to create a surface from different lines and curves such the picture attached...

I just want to internal surface create from these curves and lines...

do you have any idea?

thanks guys

Patch them (and attempt to trim the Brep if patch fails to do so)

Hi peter,

i'm trying to use patch component  and after trim brep with extend curves bt it doesn't works.

Is it right my method?

I'm not understand how I can obtain my surface...

I found a solution but I don't think it's right and parametric...

do you know a more flexible and better method to realize that surface?

Er ... hmm ... diagnosis based on images it's a bit like dating a girl via Skype.

Anyway I'll prepare the right thing for you (in a single component that is not a cluster, he he).

lol!! so true!

that's my definition! thanks peter!!

Slightly different approach using Intersections and Boundary Surfaces, it almost definitely won't be as nice as peter's scripted voodoo, but just uses stock components.

There's (kind of) three cases:

- One without extension, for if all the curves are going to intersect such that they define a region.

- One with a bit of extension before going into the above.

- One with a little bit of (very fallible) logic at the end in case there are additional self intersections from the extension.

Hope that helps. Feel very free to try and add a bit more sound logic to the last (my analysis finished as I got to this stage; back to work!)
