how to boolean strips??

Dear all;

I understand my querry may not be strictly grasshopper but I have no idea who else to ask.

Why wont my strips boolean together? i want one object from those 20 wave strips. they all meet. they all intersect. 

But the boolean does not work. 

I would like to make it so its one shell. 

Please help me.
