algorithmic modeling for Rhino

2011.11.25_Lageplan.ghhi,
i am a newbe in this forum an with grasshopper... hopefully u wont get pissed due to my beginner questions. i am not capable of completing my first definition i would like to distort the hexagon pattern, naturally in a way that the model works evenly

Hi Alexander, do you mean to scale the hexagons in y direction only? If so, ScaleNU component can do that.

Hi did you find this in the Function of Ornament from the FOA Spanish Pavillion project?  If not, you should check it out because it has a lot of overlap.  I tried to model that tiling pattern, and the best method I found was to lay out a hexagonal grid and then define vectors from all of the center points to the vertices, and adjust the vector lengths.

true, adjacent hexagons do overlap, since they share the same edge

one way to fix it is to use weavebird, you can weld adjacent faces together

Hi Khaleefa, I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're asking. All wires are visible... Please rephrase the question.

i dont know how to work with it can you please provid us with a video to see how it works  and how we can us it , i am sure every one here knows how to use it but me i dont know how  to use it and what it does
