Grid Shell Structure - Minimal surface and geodesic lines in it

Hello everybody!

I am a beginner in Grasshopper so I am a bit lost, I hope you can help me.

I study architecture and this semester project consists on designing a grid shell pavilion. The grid shell surface is a minimal surface, like a group of linked funnels of different dimensions, and the compression elements I want them to follow the geodesic lines of the surface.

I know how to make a minimal surface with the geometry gym plug-in and I know how to create the geodesic lines to a given surface. The problem is that the relaxation command of the geometry gym plug-in generates a mesh, with the shape I want, from where I know how to create a polysurface but not a surface. When I try to generate the geodesic lines in this polysurface tiny dots appear, like smal curve segments.

I have followed some tutorials from this blog but they do not work for my case, or I don't know how to make them work hahaha.

Thanks a lot!!! Looking forward to your comments.

Pablo.
