gh files not showing up across network

I back up my files across a network using ntbackup(winXp) on another computer.  Some of the .gh files are not visible in either the ntbackup screens, or in windows explorer from that computer.  Anyone else have this issue?  any ideas why this is so?  Maybe something to do with the Save/recovery file issue?
