geometry patterns

with studio and all going on lately i've been on a kick with surface division and patterns on surfaces.  i was looking for examples the other day and ran across this site: http://tilings.math.uni-bielefeld.de/people/d_frettl_ouml_h

just wondering if anyone has tried to replicate these in grasshopper.
