Girih shape tiling and packing

Hey guys I'm doing independent research studio at school and we are working with the girih shapes. Instead of perfect tiling we are arranging the shapes so they leave these planned gaps (almost like the rhombus piece but tighter). Is there a way I could use galapagos to analyze the edge lengths and get the pieces to tile? Arranging these manually is getting to be a pain so I was looking for a more automated way to arrange these. Thanks.See More

i culled out all the faces that were on the very outside of the 3d voronoi bounding box. from there i then culled out those faces based on a function of their area (if they were less than a specific area they were removed)

cull outside faces

so after seeing the new 3d voronoi component (very awesome btw! thank you!) i wanted to recreate a manual 3d voronoi project i did. for the last part im looking for the easiest way to cull out all the faces which lie on the outside of the structure.im using the 3d voronoi with a regular bounding box so there is no funky shape, eventually there could be, but i would like a way to cull out and group all the outside faces in order to apply my louver script. i tried using the inclusion component…See More
