algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have a simple example that I cant seem to crack.

I have a series of points organized into vertical arrays divided by distance where each array increases in points (see image). I want each separate vertical array to be flattened but I still want all the vertical arrays to be in one tree.

Can you flatten the branches in the tree yet keep the tree?

Are you able to post your ghx file and relevant model? Because what you have in your path.jpg is along the right lines and if this is not working then it might mean several things need addressing.
The reason I need flattened branches within a tree is to get different random numbers within a tree. I put a new post up which does a better job explaining. Thanks for the help Danny
