extrude polylines according to source length

hey guys,
I am trying to extrude the polyline grid according to the distance from the source points. i have tried doing something according to the previous discussion, but i cannot get to the result.. can some one please check the definition and lemme know whr i am wrong an what i shall do nect to extrude the polyline grid..

Thankx taz, i saw the definition attached in the link.. i can see that they create the box according to points.. but in my case i have polyline centre points as the data, and according to the attracted centrepoints, i need to extrude the associated polylines.. i know its annoying, but i really cannot manage to do it..can any one of u please refer the file and give me the solution with respect to what i have done.. any alternative method simplier than than and more valid is welcome..it would make me understand better..
