Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone!! This is the first time i ask for help. Hope i don't make any mistake.

As you can see i'm trying to extend the bottom edge of a mesh i have to the boundary of a given curve.

The simplest way i had in mind was to make a loft between the edges -> convert to mesh -> Join and see i could remesh everything the find a better shape. Sadly i wasn't able to remesh it and the mesh join doesn't give a good results.

Anyone can suggest or teach me a better way? I tried to pull mesh edge with kangaroo but probably i am to noob with it.

By the way i'm using weaverbird in my def.

Thanks for your help!!

This is not retopology but I think that was what you wanted.

You can use MeshMachine to remesh in the proper way (and make the retopology).

Yes! It sure helps! Thank you very much!!!!! I will try MeshMachine to see if a can find a smoother better shape.

Hi Daniel, sorry to bother you again, but i got a new problem relative to the same matter i think.
This time i'm trying to make a closed mesh, from a part of the previous one, and then join it with another mesh. The join this time is almost ok, but the problem is when i thickness the mesh: there is a way to prevent or eliminate those hideous "teeth" from the bottom?
