Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have forgotten how to achieve this natively within GH.

I have a tree with x branches, each has 3 items that are all on path {0}.

I wish to have {0}, {1}, {2}. Just adding to the hierarchy of the tree so it is divided into three sections. I have illustrated this for clarification.

Thank you.

Thanks for the responses and examples. I actually remember now the post @ng5 recenly posted about this subject now, but could not find it readily. As for the reason I need to do this... yes I agree that once a tree needs to modified in this fashion, the writer should 'refactor'/edit their code to mitigate the issue.

The example I posted was merely a means to try and figure out how to solve this type of problem as I do find myself in this situation from time to time and occasionally I do not want to retrace my steps and refactor/edit before I can view my intended output. There could also be some other applications for this type of function as well I think.

Is anyone had an idea for make this in c# visual studio? I really need it.

Thank you.

Can you start a new discussion in the C#/VB forum for this, since it involves coding?
