Diagrid Interface across irregular surfaces

Hello All,

I am currently preparing my model for structural analysis however the method of laying the diagrid on the surface was really only for aesthetics. The problem with the "two curve" method as I have been calling it, is that when you divide the surface using UV domains, the size and shape of the areas change depending on the shape and size of the original surface.

Has anyone dealt with this type of issue before? Its important that the diagrid meet at the nodes so that it can work effectively (and it has a chance of going into the structural model).
