Pin Jointed Truss Problem - Karamba

Hi, I know that this isnt the appropriate area to post this but I was hoping that someone might be able to help me. I am trying to make this model behave like a pin jointed truss but it only wants to…Continue

Pin Jointed Truss

Hello, I know I have brought this up before but I just wanted to have another look over it. I have started from scratch to create another basic truss module with pin jointed supports and planar supports to resist out of plane translation. I am still getting this report back as singular stiffness matrix issue. Can you have a look over and see where the mistakes are? This is my third run at this and I am starting to confuse myself. I am using Jon's StructDraw module to make the truss geometry. …See More

Structural Analysis Blog

Hello, Just wanted to put a plug in for my new blog regarding parametric modelling and structural analysis. I have just started but I will mostly be uploading modules I have created for my university work. Adventures In Parametric Analysis At the moment I have only uploaded two of the Karamba models but I will be intending to focus on Karamba, Geometry Gym plug ins and *hopefully* utilising Kangaroo for structural deformation…See More
