Data Visualization and Dynamic Shading (DIVA + VIPER)

Hey everyone,

Two questions: I have been working along with Jeff N's GH tutorials for my senior thesis and am running into a few problems.  

First, can one have dynamic DIVA shading in Grasshopper?  The DIVA toolbar allows for dynamic shading; how does one import that data into the DIVA component in GH or otherwise achieve dynamic shading for realistic simulations?

Second, does anyone know how to visually display DIVA or VIPER data through Grasshopper (see video below).  It looks like a custom script.  Any ideas how go about creating one of these?
