Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I sent this message to David, but I thought it might be a good idea to share it, there might be others with the same issue.

I'm affected with a soft Daltonism, that makes really hard (only sometimes) to differenciate the green and the red points in grasshopper. I'm sure won't be that hard to be able to change the preview colors.

And if theres a way allready, then excuse me for being so blind!

Thanks... willing to see a pink-golden preview colors, or maybe a silver-blue, ok, that was a joke, but it would be really grat to be able to change the preview colors, and it will make my work (life) easier.

Hi Pep,

It would be nice to have some global settings to change the preview, but at the moment you can use the Custom Preview component found in Params.Special.Custom Preview. You can directly connect a color swatch to the S input, or to get a bit fancier create a shader (or modify the default shader in the component).

Hi Luis, I know that... but its sometiems orthopedic!

It was more a claim to the "glogal settings" editability. Normally I can work with the preset colors, but when there are lots of pints (red crosses) and some selected (green corsses) it starts to get complicated!

But thanks for the answer, we'll wait for David's implementation soon... hopefully

Ok Pep, sorry, I misunderstood if you already knew that method or not.
Hopefully some global controls will be available soon.

Luis, I appreciate the time you dediacted to answer me, don't need to apologise at all!

Thanks and will be waiting for global controls.

THANKS
