Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I am having trouble with lists...

i have a set of curves that i have extracted from a form, now i want to cull the shorter ones, if i put them into a list and use a cull pattern i cannot seem to then extract the curves from the list because they are now numbers not a curve..

any tips?

i have attached a screen shot and grasshopper script.

Forget the cull issue (easiest of things) and concentrate to the big thing: you are extruding edges in a rather chaotic way (edges count mismatch [obviously] with vectors count).

Using a random brep (yours not internalized or GH failed to memorize it) and decomposing it > Is this (stripes in a "radial" offset so to speak: derivatives from offsetting brepFaces and then extracting the edges ) what are you trying to achieve? (prior culling anything: stripes, edges, cats, dogs etc etc). Each surface yields 4 "stripes" thus the overlaps shown (not an issue).

If yes ... what kind of "solids" do you expect from these? What exactly would you like to happen at common edges? (say: individual solids where the sum/assemply of them makes some sort of "cage" around the brep?)
