Creating a curve from a series of seismic colour maps

Hi

I'm new to Grasshopper but have a bit of experience with Rhino,

I'm trying to take a series of cuts from a seismic survey, isolate one colour (red) from the image and create a curve from it which I can then loft to create an extrapolated sub-surface map of this particular type of feature...

I've been experimenting for days but am having problems (firstly) Isolating the Red and getting the plane to react ONLY to that colour rather than the whole spectrum.

Then I guess would I use the Region Intersect tool to isolate the red areas from the rest of the surface by cutting it through with another plane??

and finally lofting, which I have a better grasp of... but am not sure how to code it.

Any suggestions would be HUGELY appreciated. Thank you!

Any files, sketches and/or images would be HUGELY appreciated.

Here are some (3/7) of the images from the seismic survey... they're probably the most useful to demonstrate the problem and the desired result. They are a cross section of sub-surface ground types with the darker colours being harder ground, and the red being the transitional limestone... they are South <---> North facing...

It's 2am, I'll post some more images and or files in the morning.

thanks again.

Sorry. the files were too big last time.

This is my script at this point. It utilizes two vertical surfaces - one to create the curved surface from the colour image, the other to intersect and create a crossover.

I need to be able to turn the intersection of the two planes into a series of continuous curves which I can then Loft.
