Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey,

how can I create a ghx button out of a existing ghx file? I got plenty of ghx files which analyse curves (distance max min, specific distance, length, etc) and other stuff in my libary. I often combine them or place them in other files. It would be much easier and clearly arranged with only one button/component. Is it possible to collapse them and still have the input and output options? or put them into a button like the vb scripting component?

I wish you all a happy new year!

Best Regards

did you try using clusters? it does exactly what you are describing.

hey

I tried this already! It is working quiet good, but some informations I would like to change.

for example: here should be written "Curve to measure" instead of "Cluster input parameter".

and how do i save the component? I mean how do I get the compnent into the toolbar/ componenet panel?
when making your cluster, double click on the arrows. there you can change the texts and names. and when you double click on the cluster itself, you can change the icon, name, info etc. i'm not sure if it's possible to embed a cluster onto the toolbar panel, i just copy/paste them to the definition.
You can save a cluster to the component panel by choosing file: create user object.
