You didn't specify an extrusion vector. I changed your definition a bit so the top decreases back to original position if it's what you wanted.

Hi David, The previous thread is here. http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/creating-a-circle-with-2-circles-and-a-defined-radius I slightly updated the definition so that it works when two circles are not alike.

your works about patterns are really interesting for me and they are in my research field. my research field is about natural structures and islamich patterns and structures like "karbandi" and "Muqarnas" or "Mocárabe" i will be very happy if we company to make these models in grasshopper?
