algorithmic modeling for Rhino

The Component "VDis" gives the vector always a red colour. Is there some way to get a black color? Thank you.

It doesn't give it a red colour so much as the default colour. They'll turn green when you select the component.

If you want to assign a colour you'll have to use the [Vector Display Ex] component.

David Pasha!

But the "form" of the vector from the [Vector Display Ex] doesn't look so nice ...

Alas, such is the imperfectness of this cruel world.

The VDis component should be able to do it right, but the Gradient control is broken.

It IS cruel.

I had a similar problem some days ago. In the end I just created my own vertices out of lines and added a custom curve component as the arrows. Then I turned each arrow into a mesh and colored it all.

It's a bad solution, and it can get slow if you have a lot of vectors, but its super easy to implement.
