Clean Definition and multiple curve to work building code parametrize

I'm working on a project to parametrize some of the rule of the building code of Buenos Aires, now i'm working on a definition to get some internal lines of the block to define some gauges, my definition its a little bit so weird, cuz its work just with one square at time, when i try to evaluate multiple squares at the same time only work with one square

can some one take a look at my definition and enlight me a little bit to achieve my goals ?

can you upload a screenshot of the definition i´m at work now and here i dont have rhino and GH to look out the new one.

i realized what you said about the multiple segments when simplify the line, i will going to check it today  the curve tolerance.  if y replace the first explote componnet for a brep analysis works better with a little bit of deviation in the third block. but for the rectangles no. because i dont know why the offset not working well with the tangential.  this problem will be nice to publish in the coffe group

Hey Dude.

Thanks a Lot, now i have to keep developing all the other parts of the definition behind this starting point keep in touch

Hannes Löschke

i modify the definition base on my def and your def, cuz the voroni reconstruction doesnt work very well with the precision, here is the new definition with the modification, so check it and see what i did to fine tune it

really thank you to your help.

I stand with my voronoi solution. Can you post the full plan or at least the cells that fail with voronoi?

The BRep edges are a relly good solution to separate edge lines. You don't need the simplify before, it doesn't do anyting (at least for me).

The 5 cells from your first Rhino file still generate 5 edge lines for one cell. as the fillets are gone, we can safely join all segments regardles of the angle. now we can assume we have curves for each of the 4 edges. they may have kinks, but should be reasonably straight. We want do approximate them as a single line anyway, so we can just take the endpoints of those curves and connect with a staight line...

Now use voronoi to generate the rectangle. :D

Jejejejeje hummm Voroni its more clean the definition, but with the implementation of the end point voroni and my def are doing the same

so you Win jejejeje lets keep voroni working on my project. now there's another problem is when you pick just one Curve the definition doesnt work

i track the error down to the Shift list  with one curve i have to flatter the imput, to work with multiple curve i have to unflat it, now i'm working on a switch to evaluate if there's one or mutiple imputs to flat or not this imput and the def its Done to pass to the other part of the analysis

tomorrow i will be post all the mind plan of this operation that will going to read plots of the city of buenos aires and will going to construct edificable volumes in accurance with the City building code deppends on the zonning of the city

sir, i wanted to know how to connect a spread sheet to grasshopper and generate data as i wanted to make a definition between :

1) set backs

2) height of the building.

the table is between the above mentioned things and i want both to change simultaneously

i tried ghowl but it dint work . Please would u explain it to me with an example

you sincerely,

Haridas Narvekar, (4th year B.ARCH)

(IN THE FOLLOWING DEFINITION THE INPUT IS A SITE WHICH CAN BE ANY SQUAARE OR RECTANGLE SURFACE AT THE ORIGIN)
