algorithmic modeling for Rhino

124b_8_WaterlooTerminal_Base.ghxThe attached Rhino file has a satellite photo of the built terminal as well as the three base curves. (I think I might need a 4 curve in rhino to make your grasshopper file easier) . The attached grasshopper file already has the 3 curves referenced from Rhino. Also attached is a aerial view of the existing terminal and the truss I need to duplicate throughout the site. The Rhino file should reference this file if it is in the same folder as the rhino file. Im trying to complete a model of the entire terminal that includes multiple trusses that follow three base curves. I appreciate any help I can get, I don't know where to start and am pretty lost. Let me know if anything isn't clear enough. Thanks again.

Your GH definition for the trusses has three defining points A,B and C. If you create 3 curves with equally divided points then you will be able to supply multiple defining points to your trusses. Each set of reference points need to be structured individually i.e. a branch per point on your data tree. This can be done by passing the points through a graft component. Also create a Point Param to replace the current points A, B and C so that you only need to replace the wires once in your Truss Definition.

The logic of your Path Mapper components will need to be altered to suit the new tree structures.
