Brand new to Rhino and GH with questions about diagrid

Hi!

I'm still in the process of getting a decent handle on Rhino and GH, but I've been able to get several definitions to work for me and tweaked some too.

My current project has me trying to figure out how to get a diagrid to create strips of panels that aren't necessarily all in the same row or column, but spiral around the source object. (This is my reference image for the spiral.)  I also would like to explore the possibility of several different panel configurations on the same object. (different configuration. There are two different setups for the circular shapes, plus the spacers between.)  I'm not after how to recreate this exact combinations of panels or shapes, just trying to figure out how to take a given surface and turn it into a set of panels with different shapes.  At this point I'm asking just about how to create the panel sets, not worrying about the connections.

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

You could have a look at the Shift List Component to displace the positions of points in a list to create this effect. (Wrap list = True)

Thank you! I'll give that a shot tonight!
