algorithmic modeling for Rhino
hello, i am designing a pavillion for a music performance in my class and i am using a L-system to define most of my process which is branching to create almost a opera like shell from branching modules.
i was wondering if someone would be able to help me with a grasshopper definition to do so, i am still kind of new to grasshopper and got in over my head with this project.
i am basically taking a L-system branching tree and projecting it onto a opera shell to make the skeleton of my design where i then want to use this tree as a skeleton and apply a module over all the curves to give it some volume.
(skeleton in pictures)
(general component idea in pictures)
i wanted my component to be able to be basically multiplied and connected end to end in the places that nest. the general shape of the component kind of follows the pattern at which the branching happens allowing for a general connection in the same way.
in the end i wanted to scale each component in relation to a point in the world to allow for more structural support
this is just how i kind of figured going about this, but there may be a way to do something like this easier? i am not sure.
i was wondering if anyone would be able to help me write a definition for this and help out..
please comment for more info thanks

to simplify things so maybe more people could help..
i have a "Y" shaped module
i need to apply this module to a "skeleton" made of curves
the outcome should be something like a "opera shell" that looks like branches made from the simple module where the modules meet up evenly and "Grow/branch" from the trunk area to the "tree" part which become the shell
(Refer to pictures)
thanks
