algorithmic modeling for Rhino

HI, I can create a beam system on a surface with sweep, i maybe do that, but i'm having many difficulty.

FIrst of all i use my surface and extract different curves with Isocurve.

Than i Create a Rectangle (my Section for sweep) and place for every curve start point one.

So, i Create sweep with rectangle section ad isocurve extract from my surface, but i dont understand why there are some curve that dont follow the rail (isocurve) how you can see on the image.

What can i do?

Thanks a lot :D

You should create more sections on the curve to add more rectangles and use Loft rather than sweep. Usually faster and it gives less problems. Use [Perp frames], [Align plans] (if you need it), and in each plane creates rectangles. Make sure each branch is a list of rectangles to make the loft and ready.

Using sweep is usually necessary to give more than one section, in your case I think it would work with at the beginning and end of the curve, but I would still recommending you to use loft instead of sweep, adding sections enough to flow over the curve properly.

OK thanks i'll try with Loft and more section ;D
