Any ideas on how to reference the DAO assemby in VB?

So what I'd really love to do is use Microsoft DAO (Data Access Objects) to connect into a Microsoft Access database.  This would be incredible for a project I'm working on right now, and would open up all kinds of opportunities for me as I develop in the future.  I'm a total hacker with VB - self-taught,using intellisense as a blind man does a walking stick - but used to use DAO in my old job endlessly for managing tables/executing SQL.  Does anyone know how I can add its object library to the VB.NET component in GH, so I can remotely open and operate .MDB files?
