I find that any Ning Forum adminstrator can delete anyone's all discussion. And this will never be recovered.See pic below
So,I think this is too dangerous! if any adminstrator suspend David and delete his discussion....or adminstrator's forum account password Cracked by someone, The consequences are unthinkable!

If someone manages to break in with malicious intent they can do a lot of damage. That's true for practically every website. Having regular backups is the best defense, but I do not know whether Ning makes backups and how long they keep them.
