3D Koch forms/ Tetrahedron

Hi guys 

Still relatively new to grasshopper, and trying to use it to create koch/ fractal forms for an student architecture project.

I've been trying to follow other examples on the forum to try and understand how the script is working with a tetrahedron shape, so I can then apply it to my project but keep running into problems with many of the script snapshots I've tried to replicate with either expression components (where the expression isn't posted), unknown components or not being able to work out what is connecting to what within the image.

Has anyone had any success with creating 3D recursive tetrahedron forms, or indeed applying the same logic to other forms/ shapes, and has a script I could take a look at?
