A hands‐on, intensive workshop in either Rhinoscripting or Grasshopper and fabrication with MasterCAM. The workshop is meant for
professionals with a working knowledge in Rhinoceros. Prior experience with Grasshopper or Rhino VB scripting is not necessary. The
workshop will start from first principles and cover topics from tessellation, components and connections to part organization, nesting and
labeling.
The platform for the first half of the workshop is either Grasshopper with Andrew Payne or Rhinoceros VB scripting with Marc Fornes. The
second half to of the workshop will focus on the translation of parametric and scripted architectural propositions into geometry and
programming for direct CNC fabrication. Grasshopper and Scripting sessions will run in separate rooms simultaneously. Participants choose
between VB scripting or Grasshopper when they register. Fabrication sessions will be there same for all participants.
