SUMMARY:Material Resonance Workshop
DESCRIPTION:A hands‐on, intensive workshop in either Rhinoscripting 
 or Grasshopper and fabrication with MasterCAM. The workshop is meant f
 or\nprofessionals with a working knowledge in Rhinoceros. Prior experi
 ence with Grasshopper or Rhino VB scripting is not necessary. The\nwor
 kshop will start from first principles and cover topics from tessellat
 ion, components and connections to part organization, nesting and\nlab
 eling.\nThe platform for the first half of the workshop is either Gras
 shopper with Andrew Payne or Rhinoceros VB scripting with Marc Fornes.
  The\nsecond half to of the workshop will focus on the translation of 
 parametric and scripted architectural propositions into geometry and\n
 programming for direct CNC fabrication. Grasshopper and Scripting sess
 ions will run in separate rooms simultaneously. Participants choose\nb
 etween VB scripting or Grasshopper when they register. Fabrication ses
