Event Description
CAST is an intensive five-day workshop directed by the Experimental Design Lab and hosted by The National Institute of Experimental Art (NIEA) and The College of Fine Arts (COFA), University of New South Wales, Sydney. The workshop focuses on parametric modelling using Rhino/Grasshopper and the techniques of casting enhanced by the capabilities of digital fabrication. During the workshop, participants will be introduced to the key technical principles of contemporary data-flow design environments through experimentation with physical prototypes.
