algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Join us for this year’s AEC Technology Symposium and Hackathon in NYC on September 25-27! We will discuss and explore advances in computational design, applied research, big data, and explore the open source model to advance the building design and construction industry.
Our Friday symposium at Baruch College will include technological leaders from AEC firms such as Thornton Tomasetti, Kieran Timberlake, LMN, NBBJ, Autodesk, and KPF, as well as NYU’s Center for Urban Science + Progress, Google Venture startup Flux.io, and digital media agency Ready Set Rocket.
The symposium will be followed by a weekend-long hackathon at Grohe Live! NYC, aimed to generate new ideas and processes for the AEC community through data-driven design and web-based applications. For those who wish to learn new skills in addition to participating in the hackathon, the weekend also will include valuable workshops that cover topics such as Dynamo, Grasshopper, various APIs, and 3D printing.
