DESCRIPTION:Join us for this year’s AEC Technology Symposium and Hac
 kathon in NYC on September 25-27! We will discuss and explore advances
  in computational design, applied research, big data, and explore the 
 open source model to advance the building design and construction indu
 stry.\n \nOur Friday symposium at Baruch College will include technol
 ogical leaders from AEC firms such as Thornton Tomasetti, Kieran Timbe
 rlake, LMN, NBBJ, Autodesk, and KPF, as well as NYU’s Center for Urb
 an Science + Progress, Google Venture startup Flux.io, and digital med
 ia agency Ready Set Rocket. \n \nThe symposium will be followed by a
  weekend-long hackathon at Grohe Live! NYC, aimed to generate new idea
 s and processes for the AEC community through data-driven design and w
 eb-based applications. For those who wish to learn new skills in addit
 ion to participating in the hackathon, the weekend also will include v
 aluable workshops that cover topics such as Dynamo, Grasshopper, vario
