rebuilding a slope with predifined elements

hi there!

I have a 3D Modell of a huge slope and I want to rebuild that volume by using a set of predifined geometric blocks with 10 different sizes...
so I can do it by hand and try out the best way to redifine that volume but this is a terrific job! So maybe I can do stuff like that by using Grasshopper...what do you think?

maybe someone has an advise or a link to a tutorial where I can find similar problems...would be very nice..!
