weave error

Dear all,

I am using a tutorial to try and get a simple net design component, but when I bake, it looks like the target surface appears, swallowing the net - I've attached two images below for a clearer explanation! Any ideas as to where I have gone wrong?

Any help/pointers gratefully received - I think I saw a discussion for this a while back but can no longer find it.
