algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Basically im an Architecture student attempting to learn grasshopper and having some fun with it but i think im bitting more than i can chew for my latest design at my skill level.
So what im attempting to do is is create a grasshopper code that will allow me to create any form then apply vertex paint in maya, import it back into rhino and use grasshopper to triangulate to the form then progressively subdivide it so it becomes smoother and smoother based on the vertex paint colours.
Basically an example of the kind of thing im attempting to do i found on this forum but i couldn't find out if there was a grasshopper definition for it or a tutorial
Its easy enough to triangulate the form, but i can't figure out how to get grasshopper to recognise the the vertex paint to progressively subdivide the form.
If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great! tutorial or provide me with the definition
